The micro filter (12) has an earth cable (19) terminated by a connector (21) connected to an earth of a domestic power supply network in addition to a connection unit i.e. T-shaped male connector (13), at a female connector (16) of a telephone line for connecting internal terminals of the micro filter to the earth, where the terminals are connected to conductors of the telephone line when the micro filter is plugged in the female connector in order to discharge fault current resulting from over voltage established by the lightning in the telephone line toward the earth.
