<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration capable of easily opening and closing a case near an end part of a cable while suppressing the number of components and to provide a configuration capable of further reinforcing a part for attaching the case to the cable and the vicinity of the part. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical information reader 1, a fixing member 70 fixed to a holding part 3b having high rigidity holds attachment of a cable 90 to the holding part 3b and attachment of an end piece 50 to the holding part 3b. The end piece 50 is arranged at a tip side of the holding part 3b, and the end piece 50 can receive impact during falling of a case 2 when the case 2 falls down from a cable extension side. Further, engagements between engagement holes 56a, 56b and engagement pawls 10a, 10b fix the end piece 50 to the tip side of the holding part 3b, and the fixing member 70 is fixed to the holding part 3b by engaging engagement pieces 76a, 76b with the tip side of the holding part 3b, which eliminates screws. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
