<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a nonaqueous electrolytic electricity storage device including an improved epoxy resin porous membrane. <P>SOLUTION: By bringing at least one compound selected from among carboxylic acid, carboxylate, carboxylic anhydride, and carboxylic halide into contact with an epoxy resin porous membrane, hydroxyl groups included in the porous membrane are reacted with the compound to generate carboxylic ester bonds. As a result of the processing, the amount of active hydroxyl groups present in the epoxy resin porous membrane is reduced and the membrane becomes suitable as a separator for a nonaqueous electrolytic electricity storage device. An epoxy resin sheet that has not been made porous may be reacted with the compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
