<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold a monitor and other machines in a predetermined position required by a user for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The monitor arm 1 has a positioning guide 3 integral with a bearing in the fixed side in one arm and a lever 6 having a positioning guide 4 in the movable side and a pushing and pressing member 51, and a lock part 52 in the other arm. The angle between the respective arm is adjusted in an optional turning angle, and thereafter the lever 6 is turned in a predetermined direction, thereby the positioning guide 4 in the movable side is pushed and pressed toward the positioning guide 3 in the fixed side by the pushing and pressing member 51, and the pressing member 51 and the lock part 52 are engaged by turning the lever, and the turning angle between the respective arms is locked.
