<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably inflate and expand an airbag by suppressing the expansion to the bottom face side of a housing without allowing the housing to be removed from a chute member when the airbag is inflated. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device includes: the housing 20 which is disposed in an instrument panel of a vehicle and accommodates the airbag; and the chute member 30 connected to the housing 20. In the airbag device, the housing includes: a plurality of hooks 28; and a side bracket 24 to be connected to the chute member 30. The chute member 30 includes: a plurality of rectangular holes 33 for locking the hook 28; and a connection portion 36 corresponding to the side bracket. The side bracket 24 and the connection portion 36 include the inclined connection surfaces 24a, 36a respectively that are slid each other while the hook 28 of the housing 20 is inserted in the rectangular hole 33 of the chute member 30 to allow the housing 20 and the chute member 30 to be moved in a direction that the housing 20 and the chute member 30 are separated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
