<p>Provided are a monolayer film, which is hydrophilic and not only excellent in terms of anti-fogging, anti-fouling, anti-static, and anti-condensation performance, and the like, but also has excellent transparency even with greater film thicknesses and yet tends also to have excellent scratch resistance, as well as a laminate having the monolayer film. A monolayer film having at least one anionic hydrophilic group selected from among a sulfonic acid group, a carboxyl group, and a phosphoric acid group, and in which the anion concentration ratio (Sa/Da) between the anion concentration (Sa) of the outer surface and the anion concentration (Da) of a midpoint between the outer surface and an inner surface in contact with a base material is within a specific range is prepared by preparing a mixture containing a solvent in which a solubility parameter s is in a specific range, as well as a monomer composition that contains, at specific ranges of molar ratio, a specific monomer as well as a multivalent monomer having at least two (meth)acryloyl groups and no sulfonic acid group, carboxyl group, or phosphoric acid group, and coating the base material with the mixture and thereafter removing at least some of the solvent and polymerizing the monomer composition.</p> |
