<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a smooth uniform color perception space, in which locally abrupt changes do not occur, in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A reference color space acquisition unit 104 inputs data representing a color space. A data acquisition unit 103 acquires a dataset representing visual uniformity in a plurality of color areas. A control point setting unit 105 sets control points indicating a control area including the color areas corresponding to the dataset in the color space.
