<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of mortar outer wall which is capable of obtaining excellent cracking prevention effects. <P>SOLUTION: In a basecoat step, a metal lath 42 is mounted through a waterproof sheet 41 to an outer surface of a wooden base material 30, and a basecoat layer 43 of mortar is provided (into a preset thickness) so as to bury the metal lath. In a topcoat step, a reinforcement metal lath 44 is mounted at least in a portion C where cracking may easily occur, on an outer surface of the basecoat layer 43, and a topcoat layer 45 of mortar is provided (into a preset thickness) so as to bury the reinforcement metal lath.
