COMPOSITE REINFORCED FIBER BUNDLE, ITS PRODUCTION METHOD, AND ITS MOLDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composite reinforced fiber bundle whose impregnatability with a resin is good, and which can provide a molded article having concurrently excellent electromagnetic wave shieldability and impact resistance; its production method; and its molding material.

SOLUTION: The composite reinforced fiber bundle is prepared by impregnating 100 pts.wt of a conductive reinforced fiber bundle (A) with 13 to 200 pts.wt of a polymeric antistatic agent (B). The molding material is constituted of the composite reinforced fiber bundle and a thermoplastic resin composition (C). The production method includes bringing the component (B) in a melt state of 0 to 300°C into contact with the component (A), and heating the resultant to thereby impregnate the component (A) with 80 to 100 wt.% of the supplied amount of the component (B).
