A method for coating an alignment film of a liquid crystal panel (74). The method comprises: a measuring instrument(71), a computer(72) and an ink-jet printer(73) are provided; the measuring instrument(71) is used for acquiring the pixel section differences and the heights of pixel units in the liquid crystal panel(74); the computer(72) is used for calculating to generate coating weight according to a preset coating formula and the pixel section differences and the heights of the pixel units, acquired by the measuring instrument(71); and the ink-jet printer(73) connected with the computer(72) performs coating to form the alignment film according to the coating weight generated by the calculation of the computer(72). A system for coating the alignment film of the liquid crystal panel(74) is also provided.
