The method involves collecting infectious wastes in foil bags (18). A vacuuming and sealing device (4) is arranged in a mobile support frame (1) i.e. rectangular box, and connected with a vent pipe (10), which is guided through a filter device (11). An accumulator-set (13) is arranged in the frame for power supply of the vacuuming and sealing device and the filter device. Air is withdrawn from the foil bags. The air sucked from the foil bags is disinfected and freed from odors by directing the sucked air through ionization tubes and UV lamps of the filter device. The foil bags are sealed. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing a method for germ-free disposal of infectious wastes in an old-age home, a nursing home, and a hospital.
