The dishwasher has a cleaning unit for cleaning the dishes using the rinsing water stored in a rising container by executing rising program by a control and regulating unit. The temperature of rinsing water is increased to a predetermined rinse temperature during rinsing process. The temperature of rinsing water is selectively switched to high temperature or low temperature by control and regulating unit, during drying and rinsing processes.
