PURPOSE: A plating bath roll is provided to extend the replacement period of a sleeve and a bush and thus to reduce maintenance costs. CONSTITUTION: A plating bath roll comprises an immersion roll(110) and a wear-reduction axial support unit(120). The immersion roll is provided in a plating bath and allows a steel sheet to advance. The immersion roll includes a shaft(113), a sleeve(115), and a fixing ring(117). The wear-reduction axial support unit is associated with the shaft of the immersion roll and fixed to a facility frame outside the plating bath. The wear-reduction axial support unit comprises a bush(121) having one or more inner planes which are in linear contact with at least a par of the shaft of the immersion roll. |
