A method for moving a monitoring picture position in a monitoring DVR(Digital Video Recorder) is provided to compare and calculate coordinates and sizes of a current picture and a position movement region when a user selects the picture position movement region on a picture photographed through a monitoring camera by using a mouse and control the operation of the monitoring camera. A monitoring DVR judges whether a position movement region is set up in a monitoring image displayed on a screen(S10,S11). The monitoring DVR compares the set position movement region with a current picture display region(S12). The monitoring DVR calculates a coordinate value of the position movement region(S13). The monitoring DVR transmits a position movement control signal for controlling the operation of a monitoring camera on the basis of the calculated coordinate value(S14,S15). The monitoring DVR displays a monitoring image of the monitoring camera whose operation is controlled to the position movement region on the screen(S16). |
