METHOD FOR GRINDING SIDE PORTION OF HARD, BRITTLE MATERIAL SUBSTRATE

摘要

PURPOSE: A grinding method of a side of a hard brittle material substrate is provided to improve the surface roughness of a substrate by spraying elastic abrasive from the predetermined oblique angle to the surface of a processing product. CONSTITUTION: One point on the side of a processing product(10`) is set as a processing point. Elastic abrasive is sprayed toward a predetermined processed surface. The processing surface is moved in the columnar direction of the processing product with a fixed speed. After the movement of the processing surface, to maintain the spraying direction of the elastic abrasive the spraying nozzle and the processing product are relatively moved.
