<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymeric film having low Re and Rth, small changes in Re and Rth by environmental humidity, and excellent wet heat durability, and capable of reducing unevenness of light in frontal and oblique directions of a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The polymeric film comprises pyridine or an amino compound (a compound of the formula, for example) having pyridine as a mother nucleus, and the film shows an in-plane retardation (Re) of -5 to 5 nm and a retardation (Rth) in a thickness direction of -20 to 10 nm at a wavelength of 590 nm in an environment of 25°C and 60% RH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
