PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content data display device effectively using a screen with a limited width and having a caption display function having excellent operability.

SOLUTION: A content data display device according to the present invention includes: a storage unit configured to store an image data and a content data which includes caption data associated with a region on the image data; a display unit configured to display the content data; an input unit configured to select a region; and a control unit that causes the display unit to display caption data associated with the region selected by the input unit so as to overlap on the image data as a selected caption data.
