<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device which effectively cools heating components mounted on a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A region of a power module 16 serving as a circuit board, where a switching element serving as a heating component is mounted, is seated on a block like protruding part 38 provided on a bottom wall 13 of a case 12 in a protruding manner, and thereby forming a clearance part in an area which is located between the bottom wall 13 of the case 12 and the power module 16 and is also located on the outer peripheral side of the block like protruding part 38. Heat transmitted from the switching element to the block like protruding part 38 is radiated to the exterior by circulating air between a spiracle 41 formed at the case 12 penetrating therethrough and an electric power supply terminal insertion hole 40 through the clearance part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
