<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil (W/O) type emulsion ink suitable for inkjet printing, excellent in discharge performance and storage stability, and having a low viscosity. <P>SOLUTION: The water-in-oil (W/O) type emulsion ink for inkjet contains a polyglycerine of the degree of polymerization of ≥3 in a water phase. The emulsifying agent contains a polyglycerine fatty acid ester or a polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid ester whose fatty acid moiety is oleic acid or isostearic acid, and which has HLB of 7 to 14. The concentration of the polyglycerine in the water phase is 10 to 70 mass% based on 100 mass% of the whole water phase.
