<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of man-hours in designing a hardware model for high-level synthesis on the basis of an algorithm description of hardware using a program description language. <P>SOLUTION: When algorithm description data describing an algorithm of hardware using a program description language having no concept of parallel processing and time is converted to hardware model data by a system level description having the concept of parallel processing and time, a data dependency preservation description which preserves dependency relation of data on the algorithm description with regard to parameters as hardware elements included in the algorithm description, in the system level description, is created. The hardware model converted from the algorithm description to the system level description reflects a result of evaluation and validation already performed for the algorithm description, and the converted hardware model does not require evaluation or validation again even when the use language is different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
