<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice mail service convenient and user-friendly for a user who reproduces and listens to a recorded voice message and tries to talk with the user who has recorded the voice message. <P>SOLUTION: After message reproduction processing of reproducing the recorded voice message by calling from a telephone terminal 70A to a voice mail server 10, a request for a direct call is accepted and a call is originated to a telephone terminal 70B of the recording-source user of the message. This enables seamless transition to the direct call with the telephone terminal 70B of the recording-source user without disconnection of the call.
