<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for precisely calculating the degree of association between a keyword and a sentence with a simple processing. <P>SOLUTION: A piece of data of association degree, in which degree of association between a reference keyword as a target and a sentence is linked with a set of the reference keyword and a confrontation keyword as a morpheme in the sentence, is previously prepared. A learning association degree corresponding to a combination of a keyword as an object to be determined in actual calculation and a morpheme in the sentence is obtained from the data of association degree. The degree of association between the keyword and the sentence is calculated based on the learning association degree. With this, the degree of association between the keyword as a target included in the data of association degree and the sentence can be resolved into a set of the keyword and the morpheme for actual utilization.
