<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technology to additionally install a device for the purpose of partly mitigating tsunami water jet in a short period of time on condition that existing breakwaters are utilized, given the fact that the existing breakwaters relying on the reaction force of a prior art cut-off wall did not help much to prevent tsunami damages for a huge tsunami far beyond expectations as it turned out in the Great East Japan Earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: A tsunami water jet impact force mitigating device using a tsunami thrust applying the Pascal's principle in order to solve the above problem, has a structure in which all the flow components of a high-pressure fluid with a thrust converted in the direction of progress by the high-pressure fluid having entered from an equipped water intake port 3 maintaining in closed state in a cavity from the water intake port 3 to an injection port 4 to pass through the device can be injected to the main tsunami water jet in the form of reverse water jet, and in which the rear part of the device 1 installed with a small amount of cost mitigates the impact force of the tsunami water jet by twice the flow of tsunami water jet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
