<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for sensing fuel leak of diesel engine, for sensing the occurrence of fuel leak into a combustion chamber in a diesel engine that uses liquefied gas as fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The system and the method for sensing fuel leak of diesel engine sense the occurrence of fuel leak into the combustion chamber 7 when an exhaust valve 9 of an exhaust pipe 10 is opened except a suction stroke during a prescribed period from the start of the diesel engine 2 and the difference between measurements of oxygen sensors 16a, 16b respectively disposed on a suction pipe 12 and an exhaust pipe 10 communicated with the combustion chamber 7 is a prescribed value or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
