The present invention discloses a navigation device (10) for guiding a vehicle such that the expenditure on toll along the travel route is maintained within a maximum limit that can be set by the user. This invention helps to determine a route as per the requirements of the user which is an optimum combination of tolled road segments and non-tolled road segments to suit the user budget.
