<p>A motor control device comprising a main circuit inverter (20), for calculating the loss of switching elements (IGBT7a through 7f and FWD8a through 8f) in the main circuit inverter (20), wherein the motor control device is provided with gate voltage detectors (4a through 4f) for detecting the gate voltages of the switching elements, and element loss calculation units (5a through 5f) for retaining table data indicating the relationship between the gate voltages, and the turn-on loss, turn-off loss, recovery loss of the switching elements, and finding the turn-on loss, turn-off loss, and recovery loss of the switching elements on the basis of the table data and the gate voltages measured by the gate voltage detectors (4a through 4f).</p> |
