<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents fluctuation of surface speed and tension of an endless belt, as well as color registration error and image blur. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: photoreceptor drums 2Y-2K; developing units 3Y-3K for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor drums as a toner image; an intermediate transfer belt 11 provided so as to be rotatable; primary transfer rollers 4Y-4K for transferring the toner image to the intermediate transfer belt or a sheet conveyed by the intermediate transfer belt; an intermediate transfer belt drive roller 12 which is in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the intermediate transfer belt to drive the intermediate transfer belt; a secondary transfer roller 20 provided in a position different from the intermediate transfer belt drive roller in a rotating direction of the intermediate transfer belt to drive the intermediate transfer belt, in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the intermediate transfer belt; a tension detection mechanism 19 for detecting tension of the intermediate transfer belt; and a control part for controlling the speed of the secondary transfer roller on the basis of the detection result of the tension detection mechanism 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
