<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase oxygen feed efficiency to activated sludge and membrane washing efficiency of a membrane module without blocking a diffusion hole of an air diffusing pipe. <P>SOLUTION: An air diffuser 1 includes an air diffusing pipe 11 disposed immediately below a membrane module 2 and an air diffusing pipe 12 disposed in parrallel with the air diffusing pipe 11 at a position not immediately below the same. While a plurality of openings are formed along the axial direction of the pipe 11 in the lower surface of the air diffusing pipe 11 immediately below the membrane module 2, a plurality of air diffusing holes having a diameter lower than the openings are formed to face each other across the cross section in the axial direction so that they are disposed along the axial direction at positions not immediately below, higher than the openings, and lower than the axis of the pipe 11. While a plurality of openings are formed along the axial direction of the pipe 12 in the lower surface of the air diffusing pipe 12, a plurality of air diffusing holes with a diameter lower than the openings are formed to face each other across the cross section in the axial direction so that they are disposed along the axial direction at positions higher than the openings and lower than the axis of the pipe 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
