<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility that a user may miss alarm information in a case where one-segment broadcasting is performed by a plurality of broadcasting stations. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal comprises: a receiving part which receives a one-segment signal from any broadcasting station from among a plurality of broadcasting stations which perform digital terrestrial broadcasting; an output part which outputs the one-segment signal received by the receiving part to a user; a channel search part which searches a specific broadcasting station which transmits the one-segment signal including additional information signal which may include alarm information, among the one-segment signals transmitted from the plurality of broadcasting stations respectively; and a determination part which determines whether or not the additional information signal of the one-segment signal received by the receiving part from the specific broadcasting station includes the alarm information after viewing on the broadcasting station which the user has selected is completed.
