<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heat generation by friction and to reduce torque loss by bringing a lip part into slide contact at a small diameter part. <P>SOLUTION: In a rotary shaft device 10 in which a rolling bearing 20 includes a ring-shaped outer ring 21, inner rings 22, 32, rolling elements 24, 34 rolling between the outer ring 21 and the inner rings 22, 32, wherein the outer ring 21 is fitted on and fixed to a housing 11, the inner rings 22, 32 are fitted on the rotary shaft 40, a companion flange 50 is fixed to one end of the rotary shaft 40, an axial one end of the inner ring 22 is nipped by the companion flange 50, an oil seal 60 is attached to an inner periphery of the outer ring 21, and a lip part 64 on the inner periphery side of the oil seal 60 is brought into slide contact with the companion flange 50, a protruded part 22b protruded from the inner ring 22 toward an inner diameter side and nipped by the companion flange 50 at an axial one end is provided, and an outer diameter of the companion flange 50 with which the lip part 64 is in slide contact is made smaller than an inner diameter of the inner ring 22 fitted on the rotary shaft 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
