<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance type detector that reduces a difference in detection sensitivity over the entire area in a sensor surface, and accurately performs multi-point detection. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitance type detector (1) of the present invention includes a plurality of detection electrodes (12) arranged on a sensor substrate (11) so that capacitance is formed between the adjacent electrodes.
