<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when an element substrate on which an organic EL element of white light emission is arranged, and a color filter substrate on which three kinds of color filter layers of different thickness are pasted with a narrow gap, the element substrate and the color filter substrate come into contact at a position other than a predetermined position thus causing damage on the element. <P>SOLUTION: A color filter layer is formed so that the ends of any two kinds of color filter layers out of three kinds of color filter layers overlap but one remaining color filter does not overlap, and then an element substrate and a color filter substrate are pasted so that the overlapping part of the two kinds of color filter layers and a barrier wall layer provided on the element substrate come into contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
