<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article hardly leaking urine, etc. sideways, and excellent in dispersion of urine, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and an absorbent laminated body 4 interposed between the sheets. The absorbent laminated body 4 has a longitudinal direction y and a lateral direction x, and includes an upper absorbent layer 5 and a lower absorbent layer 7 from the top sheet 2 side. The upper absorbent layer 5 has an upper opening 6 extending in the longitudinal direction y, and the lower absorbent layer 7 has a lower opening 8 overlapping the upper opening 6 and extending in the longitudinal direction y.
