<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly keep an exposure pixel position in a main scanning direction within a main scanning range corresponding to an image area. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a light source for generating a light beam; a rotary polygon mirror for making the light beam scan in a main scanning direction at a photoreceptor by rotating multiple reflective surfaces; a light decoupling part for decoupling a part of the light beam made to scan on the photoreceptor surface by the rotary polygon mirror; a light detection part arranged at a predetermined position corresponding to the inside of a main scanning range on the photoreceptor surface, for the light beam decoupled by the light decoupling part; and a clock generation part for generating a clock in a state where an exposure pixel position is corrected at the position of the light detection part, on the basis of the detection result of the light detection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
