<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barricade component which is easily carried while being folded and does not occupy a wide space in the case of storage, and a barricade. <P>SOLUTION: A barricade component comprises a hollow guard bar 2 and a support 3 which supports the guard bar 2. The support 3 is configured to be accommodated from an opening in a terminal part 2a of the guard bar 2 into the guard bar 2. The support 3 is drawn out of the opening in the terminal part 2a of the guard bar 2 and while positioning a proximal end part 30 of the support 3 in the terminal part 2a of the guard bar 2, a main body part 31 of the support 3 connected to be oscillated to the proximal end part 30 of the support 3 is folded with respect to the guard bar 2. Leg parts 32, 32 constituting the main body part 31 of the support 3 are spread to provide a grounded state.
