<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven or knit fabric for an automobile interior including a multifiber yarn and a filament yarn in which a terminal of the filament yarn does not protrude along a seam and a wrinkle due to a thermal shrinkage difference between the multifiber yarn and the filament yarn is not generated when used at a high temperature of 100°C or higher, and the filament yarn develops a color that is different from a color of the multifiber yarn, develops luster and is beautiful, and has a good touch. <P>SOLUTION: The woven or knit fabric for an automobile interior is formed of a multifiber yarn 1 having a single fiber fineness of less than 10 dtex and a thermoplastic synthetic fiber filament yarn 2 having a single fiber fineness of 50-3000 dtex. The single fiber fineness of the filament yarn is set to be 10 times or more of the single fiber fineness of the multifiber yarn, the total fineness of the filament yarn is set to be 0.4 times or more of the total fineness of the multifiber yarn, and the filament yarn is made to be exposed on the surface of the fabric. The exposed length L is set to be 3 times or more of the substantial diameter D of the filament yarn and to be 15 mm or less.
