<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter wherein a junction portion between a near shaft and a remote shaft is hardly plastically deformed. <P>SOLUTION: This catheter includes: the near shaft; the remote shaft wherein a tip region of the near shaft is fitted in a lumen of a rear end region; and a core wire which is inserted through the lumen of the remote shaft and wherein a cutout part formed in the tip region of the near shaft and a rear end part are joined. A junction face between the rear end part of the core wire and the cutout part is formed with a junction means along the junction face. When dividing the junction means into a first junction means and a second junction means along the long axis of the catheter, one of the first junction means and the second junction means is formed more than the other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
