<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome or at least reduce problems involved in a conventional technology device. <P>SOLUTION: A sterilizable particle size reduction device, component parts thereof and a method of sterilizing and validating sterility thereof are provided. Use thereof to prepare sterile suspensions of drugs is also provided. The method to prepare a pulverized particle suspension includes: (a) a process of supplying a particle suspension to a pulverization procedure performed with a sterilized particle size reduction device; and (b) a process of collecting the particle suspension of reduced particle size. The particle size reduction device includes one or more interaction chambers, each of which has a flow passage to wash out the suspension, to reduce particle size of the suspension, and a pressure intensifier to wash out the suspension to the flow passage of the interaction chamber or each of a plurality of interaction chambers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
