The protective assembly comprises: at least one upright (120) having at least one lateral opening (255), at least one rail (140) and at least one sleeve (135) having at least one deformable tongue (305), which sleeve is designed to receive a rail on the inside thereof and to enter a said opening with deformation of at least one said tongue. In embodiments, at least one tongue is elastically deformable, at least one opening is provided with a tooth, and at least one tongue has an opening (325) designed to receive said tooth, the insertion of a sleeve into the opening of an upright causing the tongue to be deformed until said tooth is situated in said tongue opening. The insertion of the rail inside the sleeve stresses the tongue. Optionally, the upright of the protective assembly has at least a first pre-cut so as to form, depending on the tearing of at least one pre-cut portion, a first opening for a sleeve having a deformable tongue or a second opening for a rail with a smaller diameter than said sleeve. |
