VIBRATION CONTROL DEVICE OF OPENING/CLOSING BODY FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device of an opening/closing body for automobile, configured to reduce vibration of the opening/closing body and prevent a cylinder from being deformed or damaged.

SOLUTION: The vibration control device 10 includes: a piston 20 having a piston body 21 and piston rods 23, 27; a cylinder 30 which has a first body 30A with a first cylindrical section 31 and a second cylindrical section 32 and a second body 30B coupled to the first body 30A and fixed to an opening/closing body and which is filled with viscous fluid; and elastic means (a coil spring 55) which biases the piston rod 23 to abut on an opening peripheral edge of an automobile. When the piston 20 moves toward the second body 30B against the elastic means, the piston body 21 abuts on the second body 30B to control further movement.
