<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device module which achieves a transparent display using reflection and transmission characteristics of a cholesteric liquid crystal. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device module comprises: a liquid crystal panel 100; a backlight unit 130 which is arranged on at least one side face of the liquid crystal panel 100 and makes light directly incident on the side face; and support mechanisms 140 and 160 which support and fix the liquid crystal panel 100 and the backlight unit 130. A light guide plate provided on the back face of the liquid crystal panel 100 is omitted, the backlight unit 130 is arranged on the side face of the liquid crystal panel 100 and makes light directly incident on the liquid crystal panel 100, and thereby an image is displayed, and accordingly visibility of the image is enhanced and simultaneously the transparency of the liquid crystal panel 100 can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
