<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rationalizing the whole steelmaking method, in which calcined lime is manufactured while reducing the cost to separate it by the concentration of S, and all of the calcined lime is used properly to adapt to respective steelmaking-process properties, thereby improving utilization efficiency of the calcined lime. <P>SOLUTION: A surface of the baked calcined lime is polished to be separated into a surface layer having a high S-content and an inner layer having a low S-content. The surface layer is used as a sub-raw material for desulfurization in a hot metal desulfurization step. The inner layer is used as a sub-raw material for dephosphorization in a hot metal dephosphorization step or in a hot metal desulfurization/dephosphorization step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
