<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily understand the content of retrieved voice information. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a display unit, an input unit, and a control unit. The input unit accepts an input of a first keyword from a user. The control unit retrieves first character information including the input first keyword from a database storing multiple pieces of character information into which multiple pieces of voice information are respectively converted by voice recognition processing. Also, the control unit extracts a second keyword that is included in the first character information acquired by the retrieval and is different from the first keyword.
