<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger generating device capable of outputting with high accuracy a trigger signal that gives actuation instruction to an external device that operates in synchronization with a servo motor. <P>SOLUTION: A time required from sampling start of a position sensor to calculation of a timer set time for generating a trigger signal is defined as a servo side delay time, and a time required from output of the trigger signal by a trigger generating device to start of actuation of the external device is defined as an external device delay time. A trigger generating device of the invention includes: a timer set time calculation unit that calculates a timer set time by subtracting the servo side delay time and the external device side delay time from an arrival required time required for the external device until arriving at an actuation start position, which is calculated from positional information of a servo motor; and a trigger signal output unit that outputs a trigger signal based on the timer set time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
