<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which keeps a document easy to read while keeping information on colors in an original color document even in monochromatic output of a color document. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 which converts color image data to monochromatic image data comprises: an attribute discrimination part 2 which discriminates a colored thin line in the color image data; and a pattern processing part 4 which converts the colored thin line discriminated by the attribute discrimination part 2 to black and adds a monochromatic pattern image corresponding to original colors to the thin line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
