<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater usable imaging apparatus whose release operation can be surely and easily performed, even when the imaging apparatus is used in water at a predetermined water depth or more. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes first release means 21 which includes switch contacts (11 and 12) and is for executing an imaging operation, based on an output signal from the switch contacts generated by a depressing operation, a water pressure sensor 14 which detects the predetermined water depth, second release means 13 which includes a light emitting part and a light receiving part, emits light by the light emitting part, when it is detected that the imaging apparatus is in water at the predetermined water depth or more by the water pressure sensor, and outputs a signal, when the reflected light of the light from the light emitting part is detected by the light receiving part, to execute the imaging operation, and control means 10 which performs imaging by using the signal from the first release means, when a water depth detected by the water pressure sensor is less than the predetermined water depth and performs imaging by using the signal from the second release means, when the water depth detected by the water pressure sensor is the predetermined water depth or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
