<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an extracorporeal circulation device capable of efficiently executing a priming operation preferably without the need of human resources. <P>SOLUTION: When the priming operation is executed to the extracorporeal circulation device 100, by introducing priming solution 42 from a priming solution introduction part 40 into an extracorporeal circulation circuit 30, air inside the extracorporeal circulation circuit 30 is discharged to the outside through an air discharge part 50. A drive unit 12 drives a centrifugal pump 10 after the lapse of prescribed time after a detection part 60 detects that the priming solution 42 has reached an area 36, the priming solution 42 is circulated inside the extracorporeal circulation circuit 30 by the centrifugal pump 10, and the air remaining inside the extracorporeal circulation circuit 30 is discharged to the outside through an artificial lung 20 by the priming solution 42 circulated inside the extracorporeal circulation circuit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
