<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of glare toward other vehicles such as forward-going ones while alleviating sense of discomfort to the driver. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight is provided with a light source body 11 consisting of a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements 13 arrayed at right and left to be separately controlled for light-on and -off and a lower-side reflector 14 arranged at a lower side of the semiconductor light-emitting elements for reflecting light emitted from the same, and a projection lens 17 projecting and irradiating light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting elements. It is also provided with a pattern-forming means with which an upper-side pattern T in a high-beam light distribution pattern P1 for irradiating a long-distance region is formed by light reflected at the lower-side reflector and irradiated from the projection lens and the upper-side pattern at a center part is formed when the semiconductor light-emitting elements forming a center part in a right-and-left direction in the light distribution pattern are turned off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
