<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide selective 5HT<SB POS="POST">2C</SB>agonists which safely decrease food intake and body weight, in the 5HT<SB POS="POST">2C</SB>receptor which is a validated and well-accepted receptor target for the treatment of obesity and psychiatric disorders. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to compounds represented by the formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or hydrate thereof. In the formula, R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is H or C<SB POS="POST">1-8</SB>alkyl; R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is C<SB POS="POST">1-8</SB>alkyl or the like; R<SB POS="POST">2a</SB>is H; or R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">2a</SB>together form -CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-; R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">4</SB>are each independently H; or R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">4</SB>together with the atoms to which they are attached can form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring having one O atom; each R<SB POS="POST">5</SB>is independently C<SB POS="POST">1-8</SB>alkyl; and R<SB POS="POST">6</SB>is H or C<SB POS="POST">1-8</SB>alkyl. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
