<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide selective 5HT<SB POS="POST">2C</SB>agonists which safely decrease food intake and body weight, in the 5HT<SB POS="POST">2C</SB>receptor which is a validated and well-accepted receptor target for the treatment of obesity and psychiatric disorders. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to compounds represented by the formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or hydrate thereof.
