<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for air dryer, capable of suitably reducing noise during release of air into the atmosphere and suppressing circumferential scattering of oil content. <P>SOLUTION: A silencer body 17 located at an air outlet of an air dryer includes a circumferential portion 15 and a bottom portion 16, and slits 21 are formed in the circumferential portion 15 and bottom portion 16 of the silencer body 17.
